Mediation Services

_edited.jpg

Mediation is often the most effective path to resolution—saving parties significant time, expense, and uncertainty while preserving control over the outcome. A skilled mediator does more than facilitate discussion; they help identify pressure points, clarify risks, and guide parties toward practical, durable solutions.

Ed Whelan is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator, having completed extensive training and qualification requirements mandated by the State of Florida. This certification reflects hours of education, supervised mediation experience, and demonstrated competency in conflict resolution, negotiation dynamics, and ethical mediation practice.

Drawing on years of legal experience, Ed approaches mediation with a balanced, pragmatic style—focused on preparation, neutrality, and forward momentum. His goal is not simply to reach agreement, but to help parties reach informed resolutions that withstand scrutiny and avoid prolonged litigation.

Mediations are available for construction, commercial, and business disputes and may be conducted in person or remotely, depending on the needs of the parties.

Whelan Construction Law offers mediation services designed to provide a neutral, structured forum for the resolution of construction and business disputes. With deep experience in complex contractual and technical issues, the firm assists parties in navigating disputes with clarity, professionalism, and an emphasis on practical outcomes.
